Together We Ride Community Challenge

–June 18th-August 28th, 2021 –Sponsorship Deadline: 6/1/2021 (to receive all sponsorship benefits) 

The Together We Ride Challenge will utilizing the Kilter app where participants will challenge themselves to move up to 240 miles from June 18th to August 29th, and build community as they encourage one another in healthy competition to meet their mileage goal. Throughout this 10-week challenge we will be encouraging all in our community to “Get out and Move” which will culminate in a “Get out and Move Day” with our cause-driven cyclists over the Mesabi Trail from Virginia to Grand Rapids on Saturday, August 27th.  

This event is an excellent opportunity for cyclists of all ability to challenge themselves, along with their families and friends to get active throughout the summer. During the challenge, individuals across our region will be testing their physical endurance while building community and a sense of purpose. These activities will not only improve the physical wellbeing of our neighbors, but also improve their mental health and wellness as we join together to promote health and wellness for all people through the YMCA. #DonateYourHustle #TogetherWeRide 

We are seeking sponsors to host this event and to offset the cost of these community enrichment programs.  

Marketing Opportunity: The Together We Ride Challenge is an amazing way for sponsors to connect with and have visibility in front of families and youth as well as businesses and citizens that are most active within your biking community. Each Community Ride sponsor will be acknowledged on all relevant signage as well as on local website and social media channels. In-Kind donations are encouraged and will be recognized at the same level as cash gifts.
